Working on document tooling, mostly around getting reference material out of PDFs and into plain text that other tools can read.
Current side project is pdf2md, a PDF to Markdown converter that runs entirely in the browser — nothing is uploaded, heading hierarchy and tables survive the conversion, and it handles files up to 1000 pages. Useful for civic data work where the source is a scanned council report and you need something greppable.
